"Our commitment to sending guests home with the most memorable and enjoyable experience remains our main focus," said Bailey. We believe the new runs and Magic Carpet lift will excite our guests and keep them coming back for more."
Improvements undertaken at Powderhorn for the 2008/09 Season: -- Two new runs: Hooligan & Bear Claw. Both are located on West End and are black runs for experienced skiers. Each run is approximately 2400' long. -- New 120' long Magic Carpet beginner lift -- Updated terrain park with new hard and soft features. -- New Trader Cafe with coffee, tea, sandwiches, wraps and snacks. -- Magic 93.1 Learn to Ski/Ride Series program tailored for those that have never skied/snowboarded before. Participants receive a season pass upon completion of the program. -- Increased rental inventory including skis, snowboards, telemark and cross-country equipment. -- New special events including The Great Mascot Race -- Buddy, Burger and Beverage: 2 lift tickets, 2 burgers, 2 beverages for $120. Valid Mon-Fri all season.
